Two things. One, right before I took this photo I was thinking “man, I wish I had something to submit to fail blog.” And two, although I didn’t look inside (though I totally could have), I did do right thing and pulled off the lock combo and locked the lock.

Now, you might ask, “But Nate, what if he doesn’t remember the combination, and now he can’t get into his locker!”. Locks keep people out of your locker. But this only works if it is locked. And if they don’t know your combination. In this case, these two things were, sadly, not true.

However, those of you worried that the rightfully owner of this locker not knowing his own combination, don’t worry, because I made sure to write it on the locker itself in permanent marker.

And now that you are thinking, “But Nate, that defeats the purpose!” Thank you for proving my point.

This guy, whomever he is, if there is in fact anything left in his locker before I found it, can now have his stuff which was safely locked behind a properly locked lock. Now all he has to do is get inside. Good luck buddy.

(And those of you who aren’t sure when people are being sarcastic, I did not actually write anything in permanent marker on his lock...though, that would have been pretty hilarious).
